Joanna Katz could be best described as one who puts a whole new spin on “scissor-happy”. And that happiness spreads to everyone around her, especially if you happen to be the lucky one sitting in her chair.
“I tend to view my chair as a place where transformation happens, both in image and in mind. I just don’t think most of us really think as if we’re the age that we actually are. We think a lot younger. This is the place where we get to honor that state of mind. And, honestly, I find it hard to believe that state isn’t the true reality here. It’s my job to be their partner in fighting any notion that they’re winding down. In fact, it’s quite the contrary – most of us are just getting started.”
